Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, the Committee proceeded to a briefing on the Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea (PED) Situation in Canada.

Harpreet Kochhar and Andrew Dickson made statements and, with Barbara Jordan, answered questions.

At 11:57 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:08 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Greg Douglas, by videoconference from Regina, Saskatchewan, Quintin Pearce, Claude Vielfaure and Bill Rempel made statements and answered questions.

At 12:42 p.m., Bev Shipley took the Chair.

At 12:51 p.m., Pat Finnigan took the Chair.

At 12:53 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:56 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts.

At 1:02 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
