The Standing Committee on Public Accounts met in camera at 8:46 a.m. this day, in Room 306, La Promenade Building, the Chair, David Christopherson, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Jay Aspin, Joyce Bateman, Hon. Gerry Byrne, David Christopherson, Earl Dreeshen, Bryan Hayes, Daryl Kramp, Mathieu Ravignat, Andrew Saxton, Bev Shipley and Glenn Thibeault.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Alex Smith, Analyst ; Jeff Graham, Analyst.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, March 1, 2012, the Committee resumed consideration of Chapter 1, Canada's Economic Action Plan, of the Fall 2011 Report of the Auditor General of Canada referred to the Committee on Tuesday, November 22, 2011.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, the Committee resumed consideration of Chapter 4, Regulating Pharmaceutical Drugs - Health Canada, of the Fall 2011 Report of the Auditor General of Canada referred to the Committee on Tuesday, November 22, 2011.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That consideration of the draft report on Chapter 4, Regulating Pharmaceutical Drugs — Health Canada, of the Fall 2011 Report of the Auditor General of Canada be postponed pending receipt of documentation requested at the Committee’s meeting on Thursday, March 29, 2012.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, the Committee resumed consideration of the Main Estimates 2012-2013: Vote 20 under FINANCE referred to the Committee on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.

Vote 20 under FINANCE carried.

ORDERED, — That the Chair report Vote 20, less the amounts voted in Interim Supply, under FINANCE to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 10:46 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
