EVIDENCE

Wednesday, May 9, 2012

[Recorded by Electronic Apparatus]

  (1530)

[English]

I will call the meeting to order just long enough to discuss what we will do about this. The bells are now ringing.
We have invited representatives from the Treasury Board Secretariat and the Minister of Finance here. We appreciate the witnesses, and all the trouble that they've gone to in order to attend to help us with the wrap-up meeting of this very interesting study that we've been doing on estimates and supply.
We have had many proposals put forward by many witnesses, which we wanted to run by you as to the possibility of their being recommendations that might be implemented some day. It was to be a very important meeting, and I apologize to you on behalf of the committee. But when the bells are ringing, the policy is that unless there's unanimous consent to stay for a short period of time, we do have to get back to the House.
I'm going to have to thank you for coming and I will leave it to the clerk to reschedule a similar meeting for early next week, perhaps. I apologize and thank you very much for the trouble that you went to in order to be here.
The meeting is adjourned, ladies and gentlemen.
