Pursuant to Standing Order 32(1.1), a message received from the Senate was deposited with the Clerk of the House on Monday, July 12, 2010, as follows:

Conformément à l'article 32(1.1) du Règlement, un message reçu du Sénat est déposé auprès de la Greffière de la Chambre le lundi 12 juillet 2010 comme suit :
— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint that House that the Senate has passed Bill C-9, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 4, 2010 and other measures, without amendment.

— ORDONNÉ : Qu'un message soit transmis à la Chambre des communes pour l'informer que le Sénat a adopté le projet de loi C-9, Loi portant exécution de certaines dispositions du budget déposé au Parlement le 4 mars 2010 et mettant en oeuvre d’autres mesures, sans amendement.
Royal Assent Sanction Royale

A message was received informing the Commons that on July 12, 2010, at 11:05 p.m., the Honourable Thomas Cromwell, Puisne Judge of the Supreme Court of Canada, in his capacity as Deputy of the Governor General, signified Royal Assent by written declaration to the following Bill:
