Good morning, everyone. We will start this morning's meeting calmly.

[English]

Welcome to meeting number 26 of the Standing Committee on Official Languages.
This morning we are starting the meeting with committee business.

[Translation]

Good morning, Mr. Nadeau. Are you well this morning?
Mr. Chair, I cannot contain my joy. Just knowing that the committee was meeting this morning, I woke up at 3 a.m.
Many of your colleagues went to see the movie Incendies last night. Did you go, Mr. Nadeau?
Unfortunately not. Last night, I was at the Knights of Columbus hall, Ste-Maria Goretti council, for a community event.
    Congratulations.
    Thank you very much.
We are considering the Fourth Report of the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure. The recommendation reads as follows:
That the meeting of October 7, 2010 be dedicated to the consideration of a draft report for the study of immigration as a development tool in official language minority communities.
That is the report submitted by the steering committee. If there are no questions or comments, we will proceed immediately to the vote.
    (Motion agreed to)
    Thank you very much.
On that, we will take a short break to apply the recommendation we have just agreed to, that is, consideration of the report in camera.
    [Proceedings continue in camera]
