| M-297 — February 10, 2009 — Mr. Malo (Verchères—Les Patriotes) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should give direct assistance to artists by increasing the annual budget of the Canada Council for the Arts to $300 million and should roll back the cuts it announced in the cultural sector and restore funding for the following programs to their fiscal 2008-2009 levels: Arts Promotion Program, Trade Routes, National Training Program for the Film and Video Sector, New Media Research Networks Fund, Canadian Independent Film and Video Fund, Canada Feature Film Fund and Canadian Music Memories Program. | M-297 — 10 février 2009 — M. Malo (Verchères—Les Patriotes) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait apporter une aide directe aux artistes en augmentant à 300 millions de dollars par année le budget du Conseil des arts du Canada et devrait annuler les compressions qu’il a annoncées en matière culturelle et rétablir le financement des programmes suivants au niveau où il était au cours de l’exercice 2008-2009 : Programme de promotion des arts, Routes commerciales, Programme national de formation dans le secteur du film et de la vidéo, Fonds des réseaux de recherche sur les nouveaux médias, Fonds canadien du film et de la vidéo indépendants, Programme du long métrage et Programme de souvenirs de musique. |
