The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met in camera at 11:15 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Joe Preston, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Harold Albrecht, Kelly Block, Rodger Cuzner, Claude DeBellefeuille, Michel Guimond, Hon. Marlene Jennings, Tom Lukiwski, Joe Preston, Marcel Proulx and Scott Reid.

 

Acting Members present: David Christopherson for Yvon Godin and Bob Dechert for Guy Lauzon.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Michel Bédard, Analyst.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(v), the Committee resumed consideration of matters relating to the Webcasting of the House and its committees.
 

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

 

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

 

It was agreed, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee on Gifts under the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons meet on Thursday, March 5, 2009, at 11:00 a.m.

 

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii), the Committee undertake a study of the Standing Orders governing Private Members Business; and that the Committee meet to begin the study on Tuesday, March 10, 2009.

 

It was agreed, — That the Committee do now adjourn.

 

At 11:52 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
