March 26, 2007 — The Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development — Bill entitled “An Act to give effect to the Nunavik Inuit Land Claims Agreement and to make a consequential amendment to another Act”.
Recommendation

Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act to give effect to the Nunavik Inuit Land Claims Agreement and to make a consequential amendment to another Act”.

M-301 — March 26, 2007 — Ms. Bell (Vancouver Island North) — That, in the opinion of the House, the practice of exporting raw logs has led to massive job loss in forest dependent communities and the government should implement a policy to drastically curtail the export of raw logs and to promote domestic processing and value added manufacturing of forest products.
