The Standing Committee on Public Accounts met at 3:25 p.m. this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Chair, the Hon. Shawn Murphy, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: David Christopherson, Brian Fitzpatrick, Jean-Yves Laforest, Mike Lake, Hon. Shawn Murphy, Richard Nadeau, Pierre Poilievre, Yasmin Ratansi, David Sweet, John Williams and Borys Wrzesnewskyj.

 

Acting Members present: Massimo Pacetti for Marcel Proulx.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Brian O'Neal, Analyst; Alex Smith, Analyst; Lydia Scratch, Analyst.

 

Witnesses: Treasury Board Secretariat: Ivan Blake, Executive Director; Wayne G. Wouters, Secretary; Alister Smith, Assistant Secretary, Corporate Priorities and Planning; Linda Lizotte-MacPherson, Associate Secretary; David Moloney, Senior Assistant Secretary. Privy Council Office: Marc O'Sullivan, Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Senior Personel and Special Projects Secretariat; Mr. Karl Salgo.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on the Review of the Roles and Responsibilities of the Treasury Board Secretariat.
 

Wayne Wouters made an opening statement and, with David Moloney and Linda Lizotte-MacPherson, answered questions.

 

At 4:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:34 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Marc O'Sullivan made an opening statement and, with Alister Smith and Karl Salgo, answered questions.

 

At 5:32 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
