The Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met in camera at 9:10 a.m. this day, in Room 536 Wellington Building, the Chair, Bernard Patry, presiding.

 

Members of the Subcommittee present: Alexa McDonough, Dan McTeague, Bernard Patry and Kevin Sorenson.

 

Acting Members present: Pierre A. Paquette for Francine Lalonde.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Marcus Pistor, Analyst; Gerald Schmitz, Principal.

 

Witnesses: Office of the Auditor General of Canada: Dušan Duvnjak, Audit Project Leader; Richard Flageole, Assistant Auditor General; Paul Morse, Principal, Audit Operations.

 
The Subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Subcommittee business.
 

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee invite Robert Greenhill of the Canadian Institute of International Affairs regarding his report, “Making a Difference? External Views on Canada's International Impact”, and on the international policy review, on April 14, 2005.

 

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee invite the eight Iraqi women interns from the Women’s National Commission of the United Kingdom in relation to the Committee’s report “Exploring Canada's Relations with the Countries of the Muslim World”, on May 3, 2005.

 

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee invite Paul Heinbecker, of the Centre for International Governance Innovation, regarding the international policy review, on April 19, 2005.

 

Richard Flageole made statements and, with Paul Morse and Dušan Duvnjak, answered questions.

 

At 10:08 a.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
