Private Members' Business
At 11:00 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 30(6), the House proceeded to the consideration of Private Members' Business.
The House resumed consideration of the motion of Mr. Lunney (Nanaimo—Alberni) , seconded by Mr. Lunn (Saanich—Gulf Islands) , — That Bill C-420, An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act, be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Health.
The debate continued.

The Order was read for the consideration at report stage of Bill C-37, An Act to amend the Canadian Forces Superannuation Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, as reported by the Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs without amendment.
Mr. McCallum (Minister of National Defence) , seconded by Mrs. Stewart (Minister of Human Resources Development) , moved, — That the Bill be concurred in at report stage.
