The Subcommittee on National Security of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights met at 3:48 p.m. this day, in Room 208, West Block, the Chair, Derek Lee, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Marlene Jennings, Robert Lanctôt, Derek Lee, John McKay, David Pratt and Kevin Sorenson.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Philip Rosen, Principal.
Witnesses: From the Department of the Solicitor General: Arnold Zeman, Assistant Inspector General of CSIS; Joanne Lacroix, Director Review, Office of the Inspector General of CSIS.
Pursuant to a motion of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights adopted on Wednesday, November 6, 2002, the Subcommittee resumed consideration of national security issues related to Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).
Arnold Zeman made a statement and, with the other witness, answered questions.
At 5:08 p.m., Marlene Jennings took the Chair.
Questioning of the witnesses resumed.
At 5:20 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
