Meeting No. 14

Wednesday, June 4, 2003

The Subcommittee on the Estimates Process of the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met in camera at 5:45 p.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Co-Chair, Tony Valeri, presiding.

Members of the Sub-Committee present: Gerry Ritz, Paul Szabo, Tony Tirabassi and Tony Valeri.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jack Stilborn, Analyst.

Witness: As an individual: Robert Marleau, former Clerk of the House of Commons.

Pursuant to the motion of the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates adopted November 26, 2002, a study to inquire into matters relating to the review of the process for considering the estimates and supply.

The Subcommittee resumed consideration of a draft report.

Robert Marleau made an opening statement and answered questions.

At 6:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
