Thursday, February 21, 2002

The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met in camera at 9:10 a.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Walt Lastewka, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Stéphane Bergeron, Bev Desjarlais, Walt Lastewka, Dan McTeague, Charlie Penson, Andy Savoy and Brent St. Denis.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Dan Shaw and Lalita Acharya, Research Officers.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on the Three Federal Granting Agencies, Peer Review Funding, and the Canada Research Chairs Program (See Minutes of Proceedings, Tuesday, October 16, 2001, Meeting No. 39)and the Competition Law and Policy (See Minutes of Proceedings, Tuesday, December 4th, 2001, Meeting No. 59).

At 10:55 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
