Meeting No. 11

Monday, March 13, 2000

The Sub-Committee on Corrections and Conditional Release Act of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights met in camera at 3:39 p.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Paul DeVillers, presiding.

Members of the Sub-Committee present: Paul DeVillers, Jim Gouk, Lynn Myers, Jacques Saada, Pierrette Venne and Tom Wappel.

In attendance From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Philip Rosen, Senior Analyst and Lynn Casavant, Researcher.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), a statutory review of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act.

The Sub-Committee resumed consideration of its draft report.

At 5:42 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:55 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 6:40 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
