STANDING COMMITTEE ON INDUSTRY
COMITÉ PERMANENT DE L'INDUSTRIE
EVIDENCE
[Recorded by Electronic Apparatus]
Wednesday, June 7, 2000
The Chair (Ms. Susan Whelan (Essex, Lib.)): I call the meeting to order.
We were doing clause-by-clause consideration of Bill C-5, an act to establish the Canadian Tourism Commission, and we left off at clause 4.
(On clause 4—Agent of Her Majesty)
The Chair: Mr. Bellehumeur, if I recall correctly, was in the middle of a question. Did we get the answer to that?
[Translation]
Mr. Michel Bellehumeur (Berthier—Montcalm, BQ): Yesterday, I asked a question concerning delegation of authority. As I had received only a partial answer, I did my own research last night and found the answer I was looking for. Everything is fine. There is no longer any need to argue about this point.
If you wish, I can provide you with an explanation later on. I was only joking.
