Meeting No. 36

Thursday, June 1st, 2000

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in camera at 11:05 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Pierre de Savoye, Wendy Lill, Clifford Lincoln, Mark Muise, Alex Shepherd.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joseph Jackson, Terry Thomas, Researchers. As consultants: David Black and Kevin Burns.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), Consideration of the Canadian Book Publishing Industry.

The Committee proceeded to consider its future business.

At 12:50 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
