The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met at 10:45 a.m. this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Vice Chair, John Duncan, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Yvan Bernier, John Cummins, John Duncan, Nancy Karetak-Lindell, Bill Matthews, Marcel Proulx, Lou Sekora, Peter Stoffer.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Alan Nixon, Research Officer.

Witness: By Video Conference from Halifax, Nova Scotia: Snow Crab Fishermen's Association, Area 19: Deborah M. Baker, Legal Representative.

Pursuant to Section 52 of the Oceans Act, the Committee resumed its review of the Act

At 11:15 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair due to technical difficulties.
