MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Meeting No. 1
Wednesday, December 9, 1998
The Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in camera at 3:24 p.m. this day, in Room 705, La Promenade Building.
Member(s) of the Sub-Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Wendy Lill, Judy Longfield and Mark Muise.
Acting Member(s) present: Paul Crête for Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral and Hec Cloutier for Joe Jordan.
Other Member(s) present: Albina Guarnieri
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Sandra Harder and Bill Young, Research Officers.
The Clerk presided over the election of the Chair of the Sub-Committee.
It was agreed, - That Carolyn Benneth be elected Chair of the Sub-Committee.
Accordingly, Carolyn Benneth took the Chair.
It was agreed, - That the workplan prepared by William Young, Parliamentary Research Branch dated December 9th, 1998 be adopted.
At 3:29 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
