MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 1997 The Sub-Committee on the Sittings of the House of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met at 9:35 a.m., this day, in Room 340-S (Centre Block), Bob Kilger (Chair) presiding. Members of the Sub-Committee present: Stéphane Bergeron, Bill Blaikie, André Harvey, Bob Kilger and Randy White. Acting Member present: Peter Adams for Don Boudria. In attendance:. From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: James Robertson, Research Officer. Witnesses: From the House of Commons: Robert Marleau, Clerk of the House; Camille Montpetit, Clerk Assistant. The Sub-Committee proceeded to the consideration of its Order of Reference from the Committee dated dated Tuesday, October 28, 1997, in relation to the sitting schedule of the House. Robert Marleau made an opening statement and, with the other witness, anwered questions. At 10:31 a.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair. |
