Meeting No. 15
Tuesday, June 1st, 1999
The Sub-Committee on Corrections and Conditional Release Act of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights met in camera at 3:36 p.m. this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Paul DeVillers, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Paul DeVillers, Jim Gouk, Ivan Grose, Richard Marceau, Jacques Saada and Tom Wappel.
Acting Member present: Aileen Carroll for Lynn Myers.
Other Member present: Derek Lee.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Lynn Casavant, Researcher; Philip Rosen, Senior Analyst.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), a statutory review of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act.
The Sub-Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, - That Members' staff be permitted to attend the Sub-Committee in camera meetings.
At 5:14 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
