The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met , in camera, at 12:38 p.m., this day, in Room 112-N (Centre Block), Peter Adams (Chair) presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Peter Adams, Stéphane Bergeron, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral; Mac Harb, André Harvey, Rey Pagtakhan, Carolyn Parrish, John Richardson, John Solomon, Chuck Strahl and Randy White.
Acting Members present: Brenda Chamberlain for George Baker; Paul Bonwick for Marlene Catterall, Paul DeVillers for Yvon Charbonneau and Joe Fontana for Bob Kilger.

Report from the Commission to review allowances of Members of Parliament under S.O. 108(3)(a)(i)
In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 108(3)(a)(i), the Committee proceeded to the consideration of the Report of the Commission to review allowances of Members of Parliament entitled "Supporting Democracy" tabled in the House of Commons on Wednesday, February 4, 1998. At 12:51 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
