The Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Government Operations met at 11:04 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, Brent St. Denis, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Réginald Bélair, David Chatters, Roy Cullen, Pierre de Savoye, John Duncan, Yvon Godin, Tony Ianno, Carmen Provenzano, Ben Serré and Brent St. Denis.
Acting Member present: Rob Anders for Werner Schmidt.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Lynne Meyers.
Witnesses: From Natural Resources Canada: Mike Cleland, Assistant Deputy Minister, Energy Sector; Allan Dolenko, Deputy Director, Canmet, Energy Technology Branch, Energy Sector.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee considered new technologies and alternative fuels in the Energy Sector.
The witnesses made a statement and answered questions.
At 12:40 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
