The Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Government Operations met at 11:10 o’clock a.m., this day, in room 269, West Block, the Chair, Brent St. Denis, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Réginald Bélair, David Chatters, Roy Cullen, Pierre de Savoye, Ovid L. Jackson, Carmen Provenzano and Brent St. Denis.
Substitute Members present: Peter Mancini for Yvon Godin.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Jean-Luc Bourdages, Research Officer.
Witnesses: From Industry Canada: Chummer Farina, Acting Director General, Innovation Policy Branch; Ken Hart, Senior Policy Analyst; Sue Milne, Analyst.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), consideration of knowledge and technology-based industries in the Natural Resources Sector.
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 12:20 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
