The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-food met in camera at 9:16 a.m., this day, in Room 362, East Block, Joe McGuire, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Hélène Alarie, Rick Borotsik, Murray Calder, Denis Coderre, John Harvard, Jake E. Hoeppner, Larry McCormick, Dick Proctor, Paul Steckle and Rose-Marie Ur.
Other Members present: Pierre Brien and Réjean Lefebvre.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch: Jean-Denis Fréchette, Economist and Frédéric Forge, Researcher.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee held an Information Session on the Mad Cow Equivalent in Sheep (SCRAPIE).
At 10:59 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
