In accordance with its mandate, the Committee is studying the potential use of Indigenous languages in the House. The study will focus on the prospect of introducing simultaneous interpretation when Indigenous languages are spoken during parliamentary proceedings.


The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs is pleased to provide its 66th Report, in Plains Cree, Quebec Cree, Mohawk, Dene and Inuktitut. These languages were spoken by witnesses who appeared before the Committee during its study.
