NINTH REPORT

NEUVIÈME RAPPORT

In accordance with its Order of Reference of Monday, October 22, 2001, your Committee has considered Bill C-37, An Act to facilitate the implementation of those provisions of first nations’ claim settlements in the Provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan that relate to the creation of reserves or the addition of land to existing reserves, and to make related amendments to the Manitoba Claim Settlements Implementation Act and the Saskatchewan Treaty Land Entitlement Act, and agreed on Tuesday, November 27, 2001, to report it without amendment.

Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du lundi 22 octobre 2001, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi C-37, Loi facilitant la mise en œuvre des dispositions des règlements de revendications des premières nations en Alberta et en Saskatchewan qui ont trait à a création de réserves ou à l’adjonction de terres à des réserves existantes, et apportant des modifications corrélatives à la Loi sur la mise en œuvre de mesures concernant le règlement de revendications au Manitoba et à la Loi sur les droits fonciers issus de traités en Saskatchewan et a convenu le mardi 27 novembre 2001, d'en faire rapport sans amendement.
