Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 18, 2023, the committee resumed its study of integration of indigenous traditional knowledge and science in government policy development.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of the study of the integration of indigenous traditional knowledge and science in government policy development, the deadline for the submission of briefs be no later than Monday, February 26, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. EST.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, December 5, 2022, the committee resumed its study of long-term impacts of pay gaps experienced by different genders and equity-seeking groups among faculty at Canadian Universities.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in relation to the study on the distribution of federal government funding among Canada’s universities, the committee broaden the scope to include post-secondary institutions.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the committee’s study of the distribution of federal government funding among Canada’s post-secondary institutions, members be invited to submit their initial lists of proposed witnesses to the clerk no later than Monday, March 11, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. EST.

At 12:14 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
