On motion of Mario Simard, it was agreed, — That George Chahal be elected Chair of the committee.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Canada’s clean energy plans in the context of North American energy transformation.

Greg Moffatt, Rachel Doran, Margareta Dovgal, James Meadowcroft made statements and, with David Cherniak, answered questions.

At 5:53 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:07 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

At 6:28 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
