The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees and Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors Annual Conference, the proposed budget in the amount of $40,422.50, for the committee’s travel to Quebec City, Quebec, in the travel period of July to December 2024, be adopted and submitted to the Subcommittee on Committee Budget for consideration.

It was agreed, — That in regard to the Statement of Work document that was requested from Amazon Web Services, that:

  1. Amazon Web Services, Inc. provide a redacted copy of the document to be distributed to members, provided that only commercially sensitive information be redacted;
  2. Amazon Web Services, Inc. provide an unredacted copy of the document to the clerk of the committee, provided that this document be kept in the clerk’s office for consultation by members and their staff, and that the document be destroyed at the end of the 44th Parliament; and
  3. The clerk have the document translated and distributed as soon as possible.

At 7:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
