Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, October 17, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the ArriveCAN application.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

On motion of Michael Barrett, it was agreed, — That Cameron MacDonald provide in writing the areas where Kristian Firth, Minh Doan, John Ossowski and Erin O’Gorman were not truthful and fulsome in their presentation to the committee; and that the response be provided to the committee within seventy-two hours of the adoption of this motion.

On motion of Garnett Genuis, it was agreed, — That Minh Doan be invited before the committee for two full hours at the earliest possible opportunity.

On motion of Stephanie Kusie, it was agreed, — That, in the context of the study of the ArriveCan application, Angela Durigan, Anita Chan, and Silvana Mansour be summoned to appear before the committee on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 3:30 p.m.

It was agreed, — That the motion pertaining to the date for consideration of the draft report on the National Shipbuilding Strategy, adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 28, 2023, be rescinded and replaced with the following: that the draft report on the National Shipbuilding Strategy be considered at a later date.

It was agreed, — That the order pertaining to the summonses of Angela Durigan, Anita Chan, and Silvana Mansour related to the study of the ArriveCAN application, adopted by the committee on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, be discharged.

At 6:21 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
