Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and subsection 4(4) of the Director of public prosecution Act, the committee commenced consideration of George Dolhai for appointment as director of public prosecutions.

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and subsection 4(4) of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act, the proposed appointment of George Dohlai to the position of Director of Public Prosecutions be approved and that the committee report such to the House.

At 9:11 a.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 9:18 a.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, March 21, 2024, the committee resumed its study of antisemitism and additional measures that could be taken to address the valid fears that are being expressed by Canada’s Jewish community.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

At 10:08 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
