Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, April 11, 2024, the committee proceeded to a briefing session with the Minister of Environment and Climate and Change.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $32,500, for the study of environment and climate impacts related to the Canadian financial system, be adopted.

The Minister made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 4:06 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 4:21 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 4:34 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 5:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:34 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 5:55 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
