Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the committee resumed its study of closed work permits and temporary foreign workers.

At 3:40 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

Elizabeth Kwan, Santiago Escobar, Elias Anavisca and Gabriela Ramo made statements and answered questions.

On motion of Brad Redekopp, it was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $13,500, for the study of closed work permits and temporary foreign workers, be adopted.
