The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Seventh Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

Your subcommittee met on Thursday, February 1, 2024, to consider the business of the committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

1. That, in relation to the access to information request received by Public Services and Procurement Canada and communicated to the Committee on Thursday, January 11, 2024, to which documents related to the Committee’s proceedings are not responsive, the Committee instruct the clerk to authorize disclosure of said documents provided that they may be redacted so as not to include cell phone numbers, with the understanding that they remain protected by parliamentary privilege.
2. That the committee continue its consideration of the draft report on the study of Safe Sport in Canada at the next two meetings.
3. That the testimony from the Minister of Sports and Physical Activity’s appearance on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, be incorporated into the Safe Sport in Canada study.
4. That any confidential document containing sensitive information relating to victims provided to the clerk in relation to its study on Safe Sport in Canada, be retained by the clerk until the end of the First Session of the 44th Parliament, and thereafter be destroyed.
5. That, in relation to its study of Tech Giants’ Current and Ongoing Use of Intimidation and Subversion Tactics in Canada and Across the World, the testimony from the meeting of March 10, 2023, be integrated into the study and that the committee proceed to provide drafting instructions to the analysts for a report.
6. That the next study undertaken by the committee is its study of the National Forum on the Media.
7. That immediately following the National Forum on the Media study, the committee begin its study of Harms Caused by Online Viewing of Illegal Sexually Explicit Material.
8. That before its first meeting on the study of Harms Caused by Online Viewing of Illegal Sexually Explicit Material, the committee receive a briefing on trauma-informed practices.

It was agreed, — That the study of the National Forum on the Media be held over three meetings.

It was agreed, — That the deadline to submit witness lists for the study on the National Forum on the Media be Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.

It was agreed, — That the committee hold four meetings with witnesses for their study of Bill C-316, An Act to amend the Department of Canadian Heritage Act (Court Challenges Program).

At 5:37 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
