Pursuant to Standing Order 107(1), the subcommittee resumed its study on budget submissions.

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee (SBLI) recommend the following to the Board of Internal Economy (BOIE):

That approval be granted to host the 2022 conference of the Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors (CCOLA) and Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees (CCPAC) in Ottawa, in the summer of 2022.

That the maximum of $42,035 (including anticipated revenues for registration fees) of temporary funding be provided for the organization of the conference in 2022-2023.

That the funding be shared using the formula (35% CCOLA, 65% CCPAC) between the Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors (CCOLA) ($14,712) and the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees (CCPAC) ($27,323).

That the temporary funding of $27,323 (65% Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees (CCPAC)) for the fiscal year 2022-2023 be absorbed from the anticipated budget surpluses of Committees.

At 10:13 a.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
