Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-216, An Act to amend the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act (supply management).

The committee commenced its clause-by-clause study of the Bill.

Clause 1 carried on the following recorded division:

ORDERED, — That the Chair report the Bill to the House on division.

At 11:12 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:21 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, October 23, 2020, the committee resumed its study of reform of the World Trade Organization.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Reform of the World Trade Organization: Some Canadian Views and Priorities".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, no later than end of day on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

It was agreed, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the Chair present the report to the House of Commons if there is sufficient time to do so prior to the summer adjournment period, or in the event that the House has already adjourned, that the committee seek permission to deposit the report with the Clerk of the House at any time during the adjournment.

At 12:08 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
