RULING BY THE CHAIR

The Chair ruled that the motion in the name of Glen Motz which was disposed of during the meeting of Thursday, May 24, 2018, had not been previously moved rendering the result of the vote invalid. The Chair instructed the Clerk to modify the minutes of the meeting of Thursday, May 24, 2018, accordingly.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, March 28, 2018, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-71, An Act to amend certain Acts and Regulations in relation to firearms.

Dr. Alan Drummond, by videoconference from Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Atul Kapur, Mario Harel, Solomon Friedman, Fady Mansour and Gary Mauser made statements and, with Gordon Sneddon, answered questions.

At 1:29 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
