The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Third Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

1. That the Committee hold ten meetings to hear witnesses in relation to its study on Clean Technology in Canada’s Natural Resources Sectors;

2. That the Committee hear from approximately 60 witnesses over the course of its hearings;

3.That each party submit a prioritized list of witnesses to the Clerk, from which witnesses will be drawn according to available time slots.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $39,800, for the study of Clean Technology in Canada's Natural Resource Sectors, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday February 14, 2017, the Committee invite the Minister of Natural Resources and departmental officials to appear on Supplementary Estimates (C) 2016-17 before the reporting deadline set out in Standing Order 81(5).

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Future of Canada’s Oil and Gas, Mining and Nuclear Sectors: Innovation, Sustainable Solutions and Economic Opportunities.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 4:21 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
