Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of remediation agreements, the Shawcross Doctrine and discussions between the Office of the Attorney General and government colleagues, the Committee invite to appear: (a) Gerald Butts, appearing at a public televised meeting for a two-hour period where he shall be provided up to 30 minutes for an opening statement followed by questions under the Committee’s standard rules; (b) Michael Wernick and Nathalie Drouin, appearing together at a public televised meeting for a two-hour period where each witness will be provided up to 15 minutes for an opening statement, followed by questions under the Committee’s standard rules; that the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, seek to schedule the witnesses for Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., or as close to this date and times as possible; and that following these meetings, the Committee meet in camera to discuss next steps.
At 4:46 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
