The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Experiential Learning and Pathways to Employment for Canadian Youth".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
It was agreed, — That dissenting and/or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12 point font, single line spacing, left aligned; that titles be in Cambria 14 point font; and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, not later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee's website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee make the necessary arrangements for a press conference to be held after the tabling of the Committee's report to the House on experiential learning and pathways to employment for Canadian youth; and that the Committee be represented by the Chair and a representative from each party.
It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of the subject matter of Bill C-81, An Act to ensure a barrier-free Canada, the deadline to submit a brief of no more than 2,000 words be 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the subject matter of Bill C-81, An Act to ensure a barrier-free Canada, an additional meeting be held to hear from stakeholders, experts, and interested parties in federally regulated banking, transportation, telecom, and broadcast sectors who fall under the purview of this bill.
It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion adopted by the Commitee on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, the Clerk of the Committee be authorized to distribute Committee documents relative to the study of the subject matter of Bill C-81, An Act to ensure a barrier-free Canada to Cheryl Hardcastle, M.P.
At 10:47 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
