Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 18, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Closure of the Comox MCTS Station of the Canadian Coast Guard.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee hold a two-hour meeting dedicated to Committee Business on Thursday, May 5, 2016.

It was agreed, — That the committee approve the appointment by His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the advice of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, of David Bevan as Chairperson of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation, to hold office during pleasure for a term of six months; that it approve the appointment of John Wood as a member of the board of directors of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation, to hold office during pleasure for a term of six months, in the place of Krista L. Boryskavich; it approve the appointment of Dwight Williamson to be a Director of the Board of Directors of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation, to hold office during pleasure for a term of six months, in place of W. David Olson.

At 4:44 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
