Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of tax planning using private corporations: contributions to the Department of Finance’s consultations.

David Macdonald, Stéphane Poitras, Andrew Lovell (by videoconference from Fredericton, New Brunswick), Guy Goulet, James Merrigan and Kathleen Lahey made statements and answered questions.

At 10:02 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:09 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Gary Sands, Vhris Roberts, Laurent Marcoux, Charles Laman (by teleconference from Vancouver, British Columbia), Eddy Burello and Michael Wolfson made statements and, with the John Feeley and Jennifer Kim Drever, answered questions.

At 11:33 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:39 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Honourable Bill Morneau made a statement and answered questions.
