Jane Bailey, Owen Charters and Kristjan Backman made statements and, with Rachel Gouin, answered questions.
At 4:59 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 5:03 p.m., the sitting resumed in Camera.
It was agreed, — That the meeting of Monday, October 16, 2017, be dedicated to discuss future business and to give drafting instructions to the analysts for interim reports in relation to the study of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the study of the Privacy of Canadians at Airports, Borders and Travelling in the United States.
At 5:18 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
