Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 1, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of the clean growth and climate change in Canada: forestry, agriculture and waste.

Mike Moffatt and Susie Miller made statements and answered questions.

At 4:45 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:49 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee resumed consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (A), 2018-19: Vote 1a under Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, Votes 1a and 10a under Department of the Environment, and Vote 1a under Parks Canada Agency, referred to the Committee on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

Michael Nadler made a statement and answered questions.

Motion

Mike Lake moved, — That the Committee invite the Minister of the Environment to appear before the Committee at any time over the next two weeks to answer questions on the Supplementary Estimates (A), 2018-19.

Debate arose thereon.

The question was put on the motion and it was negatived on the following recorded division:

YEAS: Joël Godin, Mike Lake, Wayne Stetski, Mark Warawa — 4;

NAYS: William Amos, Mike Bossio, Darren Fisher, Kent Hehr, Joe Peschisolido — 5.
