The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met at 2:14 p.m. this day, in the Galaxy A Room, Saskatoon Travelodge Hotel, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: André Arthur, Paule Brunelle, Colin Carrie, Hon. Dan McTeague, James Rajotte, Hon. Raymond Simard, Bruce Stanton, Dave Van Kesteren and Robert Vincent.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Eleanor Fast, Analyst.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on February 7, 2008, the Committee resumed its study of Canadian Science and Technology.
 

Perry Lidster, Jerome Konecsni, Roman Szumski and Paul Hodgson made statements and, with Ron Kehrig, Wilfred A Keller and Carol Reynolds, answered questions.

 

At 3:51 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:02 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Ken Loeppky, Robert G. McCulloch, Richard Florizone, and John Meldrum made statements and, with Doug Gill, answered questions.

 

At 5:23 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
