The Chair (Hon. Andy Scott (Fredericton, Lib.)): I call to order the 58th meeting of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights. Today we're considering Bill C-205, an act to amend the Statutory Instruments Act (disallowance procedure for statutory instruments).
We're going to go immediately to clause-by-clause. I don't think there are any outstanding questions or concerns.
(Clause 1 agreed to)
The Chair: Shall the title pass?
Some hon. members: Agreed.
The Chair: Shall I report the bill to the House?
Some hon. members: Agreed.
The Chair: I guess a reprint is not necessary.
It's been a pleasure. The meeting is suspended to proceed to Standing Order 108(2), when the committee resumes its study on marriage and the legal recognition of same-sex unions. Let's see if we can't do that part even quicker.
