MINUTES OF PROCEEDING
(Meeting No. 15)

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1997

The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:50 o’clock a.m, this day, in room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Robert Bertrand, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Hec Clouthier, Maurice Godin, and Bob Wood.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Michel Rossignol, Research Officers.

Witness: From the Department of National Defence: Lieutenant General R.R. Crabbe, Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of a Review of the Social and Economic Challenges Facing Members of the Canadian Forces.

The witness answered questions.

At 10:50 o’clock a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
