The Standing Committee on Finance met at 9:30 o’clock a.m., this day, in the Canadian North Room, Regina, the Vice-Chair, Paddy Torsney, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Roger Gallaway, David Iftody, Gilles A. Perron, Gerry Ritz and Paddy Torsney.
Associate Members present: Scott Brison and Lorne Nystrom.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch: Richard Domingue, Research Officer.
Witnesses: Round Table 1 -- From the Saskatchewan Council of International Cooperation: Ginny Guiboche, President. From the Canadian Mental Health Association: Dr. John Hylton. Round Table 2 -- From the University of Regina Student Union: Marjorie Brown, President. From the Saskatchewan Child Care Association: Peter Morin. In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its Pre-Budget Consultation Study. (See Minutes of Proceedings of Wednesday, October 15, 1997, Meeting No. 3).
