ORDER OF REFERENCE

1st Session / 35th Parliament

Extract from the Journals of the House of Commons of Monday, October 2, 1995:

Pursuant to Standing Order 45, the House proceeded to the taking of the deferred recorded division on the motion of Mr. Young (Minister of Transport), seconded by Mr. Robichaud (Secretary of State (Agriculture and Agri-Food, Fisheries and Oceans)),--That Bill C-101, An Act to continue the National Transportation Agency as the Canadian Transportation Agency, to consolidate and revise the National Transportation Act, 1987 and the Railway Act and to amend or repeal other Acts as a consequence, be referred forthwith to the Standing Committee on Transport.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on division.

Accordingly, the Bill was referred to the Standing Committee on Transport.
